In response to the US Trade restrictions, China has started making their own personal computer systems. Working with Huawei, China has released the Qingyun W515y, and W585y desktop systems, powered by the Kirin 9000x chip. The Kirin 9000x is based off the ARM CPU architecture, which Apple uses for their Macbooks.

Alongside with the promotion of the Kirin CPU, Huawei has been promoting the HarmonyOS operating system, an OS based on Linux. However, the company allows customers to choose between HarmonyOS, and UOS V20 (Unified Operating System), in which UOS is also based on Linux.
Huawei has yet to release a planned release date to the public. However, I believe that it is planned to be released in a few months.
Overall, I believe that this may be a possible competitor to Apple, as Huawei has been stepping up their game, with their new phones being cheaper and more powerful than Apple. I conclude this article with the fact that this new computer, entirely sourced in China, may be a possible competitor to the original Apple Mac.
