Don Jr. Visits Greenland Ahead of Purchase Talks

Donald Trump Jr., son of the president-elect, has arrived at Greenland along with several conservative allies in the hopes of striking a deal over the territory.

On Monday, Don Jr. along with Turning Point USA leader Charlie Kirk arrived on Nuuk, Greenland on Trump Force One and met with the locals in the hopes of convincing many of them to support a possible American purchase deal during the Trump presidency.

In fact, Trump Jr. did raise some support for the plan during his visit, according to available details. The son of the president-elect was seen in several photos with native Greenlanders wearing "MAGA" hats, and talks commenced with some local officials.

In reaction to the pivotal visit, the Danish realm instituted new policies which addressed the local autonomy issue of Greenland as well as the Faroe Islands, including changing the official coat of arms to accommodate local traditions.
