Eggs have been a solid source of protein for Humans since Chickens were domesticated, but Bird Flu, also known as Avian Influenza, seems to be interfering with them. Bird Flu, also known as Avian Influenza, affects birds such as Chickens and Ducks, which are known for their egg production. Due to the flu being able to be spread to humans, around 30 million hens have been put down, which is around 10% of the entire chicken population in the United States. It is expected that egg prices will increase across multiple locations, with supply not being enough to contain the demand. With so many hens lost, it will take a while for the numbers to even recover to their former level.
