Gold Reaches All-Time Highs in Value

The value of gold has peaked on Monday to all-time levels.

The value of gold rose 0.83% Monday (as of 1:23 PM EST) to a new high of $2,858.60, surpassing all previous highs and making it the most valuable yet safe currency in the United States.

Gold surged on Monday due to the Trump tariff policy which had its beginnings on Saturday, which included a 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico (later cancelled on the latter) and a 10% tariff on the People's Republic of China.

The rise of gold was accompanied by the rise of the value of the USD and the drop in value of the Canadian Dollar and the Mexican Peso. The Chinese Yuan also fell on Monday.
