Google At Verge of Breakup

Google, the largest search engine, is at risk of a breakup by the government.

Google is notoriously large, with an incredibly large market share and a cap of trillions of dollars.

The U.S. Justice Department has thus supported the idea of breaking up the company, citing antitrust laws.

This could have a significant impact on the markets if this actually goes into effect. The technology market could then open for more competition between companies, or other companies like Amazon and Microsoft could capitalize on the breakup of Google for their own benefit.
