Highlights from Nvidia's CES in Las Vegas

Nvidia made a significant set of announcements at its CES keynote in Las Vegas, Nevada, setting the stock skyrocketing.

CEO of Nvidia Jensen Huang took the stage on Monday, making landmark promises from advanced AI processors to self-driving vehicles.

Huang announced a new slate of AI-powered GPUs as the next successors of the Blackwell chip line. They have higher performance, mixed with its improved AI capabilities. These chips, including the GB10, made mainly for high-tier gamers, could also be used in PCs and Laptops. Additionally, it is a smaller chip while also holding similar performance stats to previous larger stocks.

Huang also promised the innovation of new AI robots. Using an in-the-works Cosmos platform, the company will be able to program world foundation models (WFMs) or artificial intelligence models that could be used in tangible machinery. This may open the door for humanoid-like self-thinking robots.

He even opened the door for self-driving trucks powered by the same Cosmos platform.

The share price of Nvidia surged 3.4% yesterday with many investors flooding into the stock with strong enthusiasm.
