Nigeria pressured by the Trump administration to accept refugees; Nigeria refuses

The Trump administration has stated its approval of an idea to deport Venezuelan migrants to Nigeria. According to Nigeria's Foreign Minister, Yusuf Tuggar, this is something the Nigerian government strongly opposes. He gave the reason that Nigeria had its own problems to attend to, and that bringing migrants to the nation would only worsen them. This is not isolated to Nigeria, however. Tuggar has claimed that other African nations have been put under pressure. This has come under extreme controversy, with some of the countries migrants have been deported to having numerous human rights violations and internal strife. It is unknown whether the U.S government will respond to the accusations/
