On Friday afternoon, in the small town of Vinhedo, Brazil, a large passenger plane carrying 58 passengers and 4 crew members crashed, killing all 62 on board.
On the list of casualties included a Portuguese female and a Venezuelan man.
The Sao Paulo authorities have searched the wreckage for any remaining documents and items, tracing the dead bodies' identities to their belongings.
Furthermore, DNA samples have been conducted on the dead, as well as on relatives on those who passed away, to accurately trace bloodlines.
The plane was revealed to be an ATR-72 turboprop which traveled from Parana, a state in Brazil, to Sao Paulo's domestic airport.
The airplane did not pass through harsh weather conditions or turbulence, it only lost connection to nearby airport servers nine minutes before the crash. The manufacturer of the plane, Franco-Italian ATR, is conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash.
