In the key swing state of Georgia, over 90,000 residents were at risk of chlorine poisoning after a chemical plant explosion.
The chemical plant emitted a huge fume of poisonous chlorine, causing dangerous levels of the chemical to infest the air. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the air "revealed the harmful irritant chlorine" in Rockdale County, Georgia and surrounding areas.
The fire was quickly brought under control, but its impacts on the quality of the air is immense.
