Recently inaugurated Pope Leo XIV has not been in power for long, but has already begun showing his stance on the world. Earlier today, he came out in support of the Palestinian and Ukrainian people. Pope Leo decried the civilian casualties in both areas, and has stated that peace is the best option. In his opinion, the best way to create a lasting peace is rigorous dialogue. He further urged people to pray for their safety and strength during this difficult time. So far, Pope Leo appears to be following in the late Pope Francis's footsteps.
