Russia attributed to European Union leader's plane being unable to land

ree

Earlier today, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen struggled to land her plane in Bulgaria due to GPS issues. Eventually, it fortunately made a safe landing.

The European Commission has already linked this to Russia jamming GPS communications, which is aimed at sabotaging the organization. The Kremlin has denied this, claiming it to be "incorrect". Even with Russia's denials, the EC is hesitant to take the Kremlin at its word. If their accusation is correct, this would not be the first time Russia has used cyberattacks and other means to damage Western European countries. Moreover, the timing is convenient, as Leyen was planning to tour European Union nations near the border with Russia and Belarus.

Even with this scare, Leyen is still planning on continuing the tour, claiming that if she stopped, it would embolden Russia.
