Russia-Ukraine meeting concludes, prisoner swap agreed to

Russia and Ukraine have concluded another round of peace talks without reaching a ceasefire agreement. This was likely disappointing for Zelensky, as he pushed for ceasefire talks in the first place. Something else Zelensky wanted for the negotiations was to meet directly with Russian President Vladimir Putin. So far, Russia has been hesitant to do this. Like the previous meeting, this one took place in Istanbul, somewhere considered neutral ground. Although no ceasefire was agreed upon, Ukraine and Russia managed to reach an agreement on another prisoner swap, which is still a positive development. While this was good, no ceasefire means that the war will continue indefinitely.
