Stocks rose as momentum built over the course of the day for Nvidia's earnings report releasing this Wednesday.

The Standard & Poor's 500 composite rose 0.41%, the Dow Jones 30 composite rose 0.3%, and the Nasdaq composite rose 0.44%. The smaller business-heavy Russell 2000 index rose by a larger 0.83% as more investors continue their retreat from the "Magnificent Seven" and other large technology companies over to emerging tickers. The average price of oil fell 2.2% as economic fears take a halt.


Cryptocurrency revitalized today after their losses last week, with Bitcoin rising modestly 1.14% while XRP rose 5.74%. Ethereum and Solana both made gains above 4%, reflecting on the general consensus among alternate asset investors that future prospects have improved.


Asian stocks fell across the board, especially large Externally Traded Funds like the Nikkei 225 (Japan) and the Hang Seng Index (Hong Kong). This might be due to fallout from internal tensions in the United States economy, tariffs on India, and the American-Korean meeting recently showing no sign of retaliation to Trump-levied tariff rates.


Stocks rose as investors made bold predictions for Nvidia's earnings report tomorrow, with many hoping for another overperformance. But, Trump's firing of Lisa Cook over mortgage mismanagement sparked controversy when Cook refused to give up her seat.


EchoStar (SATS) stocks surged 70% after AT&T announced that it would purchase $23 billion in licensing, with the deal expected to close by mid-2026, with regulatory approval necessary for its implementation.


Nvidia stock modestly rose 1.08% as investors, as stated previously, feel confident in tomorrow's earnings release.


While many other stocks rose, UnitedHealth shares tanked 1.5% as its criminal probe expands beyond merely its crimes regarding Medicare.
