Markets continued yesterday's momentum amid the release of CPI data.
Index funds rose today. The Dow led the way with a 1% improvement, the Nasdaq grew 0.6%, and the S&P 500 grew 0.7%. Investors today clearly outlined their expectations for the CPI report set to launch very soon.
Meanwhile, many Big Tech stocks fell today due to a very serious Google antitrust lawsuit. Google itself lost about 1.6% of its share price, while Tesla fell by 1.4%. Nvidia held on to its share price, while Donald Trump Media and AMD fell 1%.
Arcadium Lithium skyrocketed 30% as a result of news of its sale to Rio Tinto, creating a stock scenario in the markets. Costco rose 2% as a result of its initiative to sell gold to its members, and its push for hurricane relief efforts in Georgia and North Carolina.
