Ukraine allowed to use full range of weapons- Russia furious

Friedrich Merz, the newest German chancellor has made the statement that Ukraine, with their western weapons will be given permission to strike throughout Russia. According to Merz, this applies to German, French, British and American weapons. Judging from this, it can be assumed the American government gave Germany the green light to make the statement. This is a massive shift in how much the western nations are willing to support Ukraine. Previously, Western nations refused the idea of allowing Ukraine to use their weapons to strike the interior of Russia, fearing that it would cause an escalation of tensions. This shift has shown that they recognize the growing threat of Russia.
