The Daily Drop - Who are we?
The Daily Drop is a not-for-profit financial, economic, political, and current events news site that aims at providing easily accessible, simple news articles for all readers.

How we
started...
Initially started by two high school sophomores, The Daily Drop was initially intended to deliver immediate, simple news for people in their community. They saw what resulted from the lack of financial literacy and economic inequality across their neighborhoods, as well as low trust in the media, and turned both finance and journalism into a creative project.
They expanded the initiative to several volunteers, with thousands of unique readers globally.

What we've done...
We advocate.
The two sophomores' initial vision didn't only include posting news content but also teaching members of the community about personal finance, civics, and news literacy.
Our efforts have taught dozens of young members of the community and was praised by numerous individuals, including Carl C. Icahn and Mrs. Gail Icahn, who stated they were "very interested" in the work of the Drop after our ICS3 summit, according to that school's principal.
