Gavin Newsom has traveled to South Carolina to boost the Democratic Party's support in the state. Newsom, during his travels, urged the people to stand firm against Donald Trump and his policies.

With midterms next year, gaining support is urgent. This could also be a hint towards a possible candidacy for President in 2028. Multiple sources have already begun connecting his visit to South Carolina to boosting his chances in the next few years. Recently, his fight with Trump in Los Angeles has brought his name to national attention.

Whatever the reason he arrived in South Carolina, it does not change the fact that his appearance bolstered the Democratic Party in the state. The stagnant Democrat meetings have had new life breathed into them by Newsom. Newsom has pledged to continue the fight against Trump, and whatever he chooses to do will have a large impact on not just California but the United States as a whole.
