S.S United States set for Mobile, Alabama today

The S.S. United States seems to have finally reached Mobile, Alabama, where the preparations for scuttling will begin. She arrived two days before expected something that she could once do under her power. Today, however, she has to be towed due to her interiors being removed. For days, people have witnessed the Ocean Liner travel on the ocean, something she has not done in decades. In her glory days, she was known for her sleek design and speed, which has not been surpassed by any Ocean Liner since. Oskaloosa County has called this a new chapter for the Big U. Once scuttled, the S.S. United States would become the world's largest artificial reef.
