Donald Trump discussed a variety of political issues with Elon Musk on his "Space" on the site X last evening at 8:00 EST.
Unfortunately for Trump, the interview was delayed by over half an hour, due to reports of a massive denial-of-service attack on Musk's platform by an alleged hacker, causing disruptions to X's servers and preventing most people from listening to Trump's live interview.
After servers started to function again, the interview started with reciting Trump's experience during and following the failed assassination attempt by Matthew Crooks at a Pennsylvania rally. Trump said that his survival was a "miracle" due to him looking at a chart to his right, preventing the bullet from hitting the center of his head. He said "I'm a believer now [in God]," referring to the almost divine intervention moment which he believed to have experienced.
Trump then targeted Harris for failing her job as the "Border Czar" while comparing her to Biden, describing the magnitude of the migrant disaster, and predicting even worse outcomes if Harris was to win. He stated that "criminals" were being released in droves to the United States, causing American crime rates to increase while their native countries' crime rates to go down.
Musk stated that he is a "left-leaning independent" but supports Trump's campaign because of the damage the Democratic Party inflicted on America and his opposition to continued chaos. Trump admired his endorsement and reaffirmed his friendship with the billionaire before the interview concluded.
Many conservatives urged Trump to do more "Spaces" on X as a means of communication to his base, while liberals labeled Musk as a MAGA "clown," and even raised concerns that Trump became a puppet to the billionaire. Despite this, more large American companies are proven to have supported Democrats before.
Musk urged Harris to have an interview with him on X similar to Trump's "Space," but she has yet to respond.
