Two Weeks Before Election Day, Both Campaigns Heat Up

With a little more than two weeks away before Election Day, the Trump and Harris campaigns ramp up strategies in the hopes of making a last minute push to shifting the tide of the race.

Kamala Harris, the Democrat nominee, had prioritized speaking at rallies across the key 7 swing states as her polling numbers tank. This weekend, she visited Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and on Sunday she spoke at a Baptist church in Georgia to hold her own with black male voters. She has also went on an interview on Fox News late last week, in the hopes of deterring her reputation as scared or shy, but in reality despite her being very outspoken in the interview, many critics gave her harsh reviews as she couldn't hold on with tough questions. She still maintains a lead in the popular vote polling average, and in many swing states leads in early voting.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, has employed a "meme" move yesterday by going to a McDonald's in Pennsylvania, working a short 15 minute shift and speaking to the press. The Trump campaign did this in retaliation to Kamala Harris' statements saying that she worked at McDonald's when she was in college, which has yet to be proven.

The state of the race is very close, with both candidates virtually tied in the polls. However, Trump has gained the lead in swing state polls for the first time since August.
